PM Imran Khan agreed to resign conditionally
ISLAMABAD (Monitoring Desk) Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to resign on a conditional basis. Opposition groups have called for the resignation of the beleaguered PM. In a interview, PM Imran Khan confronted the opposition and said he had called a 126-day sit-in in Islamabad. I challenge the opposition that if they waste a week here, I’m truly going to start thinking about resignation. In the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan says that we want to make the nation an Islamic welfare state, not an Asian tiger, the dream of the country’s founders.
Addressing the launch of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Health Center, PM Imran Khan said that 35 years ago today, he agreed to establish Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital to provide cancer care facilities to patients in the region. He said that 1,2 million families would benefit from the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Health Card and free care would be given in more than 300 hospitals in Azad Kashmir. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that I am pleased that we provided health cards to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in our previous administration. The province has now agreed that any resident can get a health card. There are 6 million families in Punjab using health cards.
The Prime Minister said that issuing a health card in Azad Kashmir would teach the people of Occupied Kashmir, who are in dire straits today and under the rule of the fascist and usurping regime, how we take care of our people. He said that even the richest nation in the world does not supply the entire population with free healthcare. It was a brave move by our government because on the one hand, the country is so indebted and has no capital, but we also have agreed to fulfill the basic needs of our people. He said that we want to make the world not an Asian tiger, but an Islamic welfare state that was the dream of the country’s fathers, and today we have taken a great step in the direction of his dream.
