Name of Shahbaz Sharif put on ECL

ISLAMABAD (Monitoring Desk) On the advice of the anti-graft watchdog, the Federal Cabinet has put PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif’s name on the Exit Control List (ECL). The name of Shehbaz has been connected to the ECL, according to Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry, with the approval of the cabinet and the completion of all paperwork.

Following a recommendation from the National Accountability Bureau, the Federal Cabinet approved the include the name of the PML-N leader in the ECL via a circulation during the Eid holidays (NAB).

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed explained the decision, saying that Shehbaz Sharif was put on the ECL because it would be difficult to bring him back if he was forced to fly overseas like Nawaz Sharif.

Shahbaz Sharif is Nawaz Sharif’s guardian, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said.

Shehbaz has 15 days to appeal the order to the Interior Ministry, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said. Nawaz Sharif didn’t arrive. How will Shahbaz Sharif make a comeback? He went on to say that the development had been communicated to all relevant agencies.

Shehbaz was left the plane from a flight scheduled for Doha.

In a case involving property exceeding control, the LHC had released Shehbaz on bail on May 7. On health grounds, the court later permitted him to travel abroad for eight weeks. Shehbaz, on the other hand, was deplaned from a Doha-bound flight by border agents on Saturday at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport because his name was on the provincial identity list (PNIL).

The PML-N president was informed that he couldn’t quit until the system was changed. The federal government had already declared that it would file a lawsuit challenging his permission to travel abroad. Shehbaz’s guarantee could not be believed, according to Chaudhry, because he had previously given assurances about Nawaz’s return, but nothing came of it.
