General election 2023 will be conducted as a result of the new census: Umar Asad
ISLAMABAD: The ongoing Government will be end in 2023 as the Government elected for 5 years term. The 5 years term of current Government will be complete in 2023. After that new general election 2023 in Pakistan. The general election will be held in 60 days after dissolution the National Assembly. The N.A will be dissolute on August 13, 2023. Umar Asad, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives said that the upcoming general election in Pakistan will be held under the outcomes of new census.
One citizen asked, when new census will be help in Pakistan. According to the statement of Umar Asad, the new census will be start in September 2021 and would be completed in the next 18 months. This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that technology will be used in new census.
He said, “We will start planning for new census in September/October 2021.” The general election 2023 in Pakistan will be held before or in October 2023, if the National Assembly complete their 5 years term according to the Constitution of Pakistan.
“The Sindh administration had received all the census data properly, but they still protested,” Umar remarked, condemning the Sindh government.
Sindh requested that the census be conducted again in the province so that the gathered information could be shared jointly, but Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa pushed on revealing the census data. The official announcement of the Census-2017 results, which had been delayed for a couple of years, was confirmed by the federal government in April.
The Federal Minister announced good news for people of Karachi by disclosing that the Green Line will be available to the public next month. He claimed that the Federal government had supplied more than Rs10 billion worth of vaccinations to Karachi, but that the provincial administration had yet to provide a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
