Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the namess for the Gilgit-Baltistan cabinet
ISLAMABAD (Monitoring Desk) The establishment of a Gilgit-Baltistan cabinet has been authorized by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Fatehullah, Rajanasar Abbas, Sohail Abbas, Shams Lone, Raja Muhammad Zakaria, Haji Shah Baig, Javed Manawa, Wazir Kaleem and Raja Azam were included in the Gilgit-Baltistan cabinet, according to the information. Prime Minister Imran Khan is said to have planned to visit Gilgit-Baltistan, where he will attend the cabinet swearing-in ceremony.
On his visit to Gilgit-Baltistan, the Prime Minister will also have meetings with the Chief Minister and Cabinet members. This is why Imran Khan will be visiting Gilgit-Baltistan next Wednesday. Federal Ministers Ali Amin Gandapur and Saifullah Niazi, meanwhile will follow him as well. Earlier, the name of the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister was accepted by Prime Minister Imran Khan. For the post of Chief Minister, Advocate Khalid Khurshid’s name has been finalized. Two names were submitted by the party to the Prime Minister for the post of Chief Minister.
According to reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan has begun working in Gilgit-Baltistan to form a cabinet. The name of Barrister Khursheed Shah was finalized for final approval by the Gilgit-Baltistan CM. Two names for the post of Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan were shortlisted by the PTI. For final clearance, the names of Barristers Khalid Khurshid and Fatehullah Khan have been submitted to the Prime Minister.
On the other side, reserved seats for technocrats and women have also been declared by the Election Commission. Six reserved seats for women and three seats for technocrats were revealed. According to a notice provided by the Gilgit-Baltistan Election Commission, 2 out of 3 technocratic seats went to Tehreek-e-Insaf of Pakistan, while one seat went to the Pakistan People Party (PPP).
