All Kuwait seal borders closed and international flights suspended

KUWAIT (Monitoring Desk) Kuwait has declared the closing of all commercial flights and its land and sea boundaries until 1 January. According to media sources, the Government of Kuwait has announced new steps to deter the transmission of the deadly virus after a new outbreak of corona viruses. The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority has previously suspended all flights to the United Kingdom and added it to its list of countries at high risk for corona virus.

Many countries around the world have closed off access to the United Kingdom after a recent surge of corona virus outbreaks. On Saturday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson placed new, stricter controls on the spread of COVID-19 in London and elsewhere, saying that he had no choice but to defend himself from corona virus before Christmas. He said the latest surge of viruses were more harmful.
