The 6 remaining matches of PSL 2021 will be palyed in Abu Dhabi

LAHORE (Monitoring Desk) The Pakistan Cricket Board declared on Thursday that it had secured all of the required approvals from the UAE authorities to host the remaining matches of PSL 2021 (Pakistan Super League) . The sixth edition of PSL 2021 postponed due to the coronavirus in Pakistan. The PCB said during a statement that later that day it will hold an online meeting with the six franchise owners to update them on progress and approve the final all details, which will be shared in due course.

We are overjoyed by this progress, as it means that the final hurdles in staging the remaining matches of HBL PSL 2021 in Abu Dhabi have been overcome, and all systems are now operational,” PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said. He thanked the UAE government, the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, the Emirates Cricket Board, and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council for their help in removing the final hurdles, putting the PCB in a strong position to finish the tournament.

The PCB will now work quickly, in coordination with the team owners, to finalise all event-related plans, the specifics of which will be shared in due time,” Wasim Khan went on to say. Wasim Khan congratulated the PCB officials for their tireless efforts and hard work in ensuring the PCB keeps its promise to its fans to stage the tournament’s final matches in June.
