Bomb blast in Lahore in a house of Johar Town district, 2 people killed and 17 injured

LAHORE: (Monitoring Desk) After an explosion in a house in Lahore’s Johar Town district, 2 people have been killed and at least 17 others were injured in the bomb blast in Lahore.  According to the report, rescue, police, and bomb disposal teams have arrived at the scene of the event, and the injured have been sent to Jinnah Hospital in the city.

According to eyewitnesses, the glass windows of surrounding houses and buildings were shattered. One of the buildings was substantially destroyed, and some automobiles parked near the bomb site were also destroyed.

Nearly two dozen persons were injured, according to hospital officials, and were transported to Jinnah Hospital in Lahore using private automobiles and auto-rickshaws. The Jinnah Hospital administration has urged for people to come forward and donate blood for the injured, while also stating that treatment is being offered to those who have been harmed.

The detonation was so loud that it could be heard from miles away. However The cause of the accident, on the other hand, is yet unknown. An unnamed guy parked a motorcycle near the residence, which later detonated, according to an eyewitness. The area has been blocked off by police for more investigations, and traffic has been rerouted.

Following the incident, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has instructed the Inspector-General of Police to submit a full information of the bomb blast in Lahore. Taking to Twitter, the Government of Punjab declared that the CM has ordered an urgent probe into the event.
