Sinopharm and Pfizer coronavirus vaccine are delivering additional doses to Pakistan

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) stated that Pakistan got more Pfizer coronavirus vaccine and Sinopharm vaccine doses on Wednesday. The NDMA reported on Twitter that the cargo had been delivered over to the federal health agency, which will divided the doses among the provinces.

Pakistan got 0.7 million doses of China’s Sinopharm vaccine on Wednesday, according to the authority.

In May, Pakistan got over 100,000 doses of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine via the COVAX facility. With UNICEF’s assistance, the doses arrived in the country. The World Health Organization, the Gavi Vaccine Alliance, and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations are leading COVAX, an international vaccine-sharing programme (CEPI).
